PHN creates health and wellness fairs for businesses of all sizes. When employees improve their health, employers benefit from fewer medical claims, absentees, and disability claims. In addition, employee productivity is higher.
Our health and wellness fairs provide the following:
Diagnostic Assessment
Our phlebotomist draws blood from each employee (this is voluntary). A full health/wellness chemistry panel (Chem23/CBC) will be performed to help identify potential health risks for each employee. Blood pressure, pulse, height, weight and Body Mass Index (BMI) is also done.
Reporting
For Employee: CONFIDENTIAL test results will be given to each employee along with a brochure that gives a general description of each test that was done.
For Employer: A report will be given to the employer that summarizes the overall results for the employee population (e.g. % with high cholesterol, % with diabetes, etc).
Education
An educational packet will be given to each employee that includes preventive information on cholesterol, osteoporosis, self examinations, skin cancer, obesity, health maintanence, hearing and vision screens and vitamins.
Additional Options
In addition to the diagnostic wellness screen, employers may add other services to their Health and Wellness Fair: Hearing and Vision Test, Body Fat Reading, Dietician and/or Acupuncturist.
